The Scriptures "seeks to be as far as possible a 'literal' translation, wherever possible rendering key words uniformly (exceptions being noted in footnotes or the Explanatory Notes)." ^[1]

"This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Tanakh, and restored the Name of the Most High, YHWH / throughout." ^[2]
