Defining Immortality

Before determining either, the Universal or Conditional nature of the Soul's Immortality, we first have to define what is meant by the term "immortality". This section explains the nature of "immortality" as synonymous with that of "eternal life". THAT WHICH IS ETERNAL, THEREFORE, IS IMMORTAL and THAT WHICH IS IMMORTAL, LIVES FOREVER. Understanding the above, is extremely important in determining whether man's soul is immortal by nature, or by grace.

Significance

The purpose of this study is to determine WHETHER THE SOUL IS IMMORTAL BY NATURE, OR BY GRACE?

Scope

This present work only concerns the nature of the soul. IT DOES NOT ANSWER, OR EVEN ATTEMPT TO ANSWER, ANY QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE INTERMEDIATE STATE; NOR THAT OF ETERNAL DESTINY.
For information on where and how we await Resurrection, please see Psychopannychism. For information on where and how The Lost will spend Eternity, please see Annihilationism.
